Jenna chose to continue her career at Hutchinson Regional after completing clinicals with Dr. Akidiva and Linessa Rexford, where she had the opportunity to get to know the hospitalist team. She was impressed by the organization’s teamlike environment and its dedication to serving patients and the community, which solidified her decision to continue her career at HRHS.

A Hutchinson native and proud Hutch High graduate, Jenna has worked in healthcare since high school. She began as a CNA before earning her ADN and RN from Hutchinson Community College in 2011, and her BSN from Tabor University. Most recently, she completed her MSN, AGACNP from Graceland University in August 2025. With more than 14 years of experience in cardiac and ICU care, Jenna brings valuable expertise from Ascension Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita. She joined HRMC as a travel nurse, then as staff two years ago, and is now excited to continue her journey as a Nurse Practitioner with the Hospitalist team.

Outside of work, Jenna enjoys spending time with her husband, their two children, Olivia (10) and Bennett (8), and their three dogs. She also loves reading and spending time with family and friends.
