Visiting Guidelines
Do not visit if you have a cold, sore throat, fever, or other illness.
Ask before bringing foods, drinks, or other items like balloons, flowers, or perfume that could trigger allergies in patient rooms.
Wash your hands before entering a patient room.
Children must have a supervising adult with them at all times and must stay in the patient’s room. This is for the safety of the child and the privacy of other patients. If children are unattended, loud, running in the halls, etc., they may be asked to leave.
All patients deserve to have a quiet and restful environment. If guests are being loud, disruptive, continually entering and exiting the patient’s room or congregating in the hallway, they may be asked to leave.
Special visiting considerations may apply to some patient care areas.
Guests wishing to visit their loved one in the hospital are encouraged to limit their visiting to two people for no more than two hours at a time.
We prefer to keep mornings free for physician visits, tests and procedures. If you are visiting during this time period, you may be asked to leave the patient’s room for these activities. This is the patient’s choice to help protect privacy laws.
