It will allow me to expand my network, nationally and internationally; continue developing professionally and be a leader in the field of chest medicine, as well as help my practice grow clinically and academically, allowing me to provide the best patient care possible and make full use of new treatments on the drawing boards”.
Ken Johnson, President and CEO of Hutchinson Regional Healthcare System (HRHS), said the national distinction bestowed on Dr. Al-Halawani comes as no surprise. “Dr. Al-Halawani is an invaluable member of the Hutchinson Regional team and in less than three years is already widely respected among his peers for his expertise and innovative treatments in dealing with a growing number of respiratory issues,” Johnson said. “And of equal importance, his patients offer praise for his compassionate bed side manner in treating patients with ailments that are sometimes life threatening. More and more patients are choosing Hutchinson Pulmonology Associates a destination facility for treating respiratory issues which is due in large part to Dr. Al-Halawani.”
Hutchinson Regional Medical Center is adjusting its masking policy effective February 15, 2023 to no longer require visitors and staff to wear masks when entering the facility. The decision comes as COVID-19 hospitalizations and cases continue to trend downward in Reno County.
