Family Practice, Obstetrics

About

Dr. Catherine Jimenez is a board-certified family medicine physician with specialized training in surgical obstetrics and endoscopy. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria, where she was part of the Rural Student Physician Program. She then completed her family medicine residency at Texas A&M in Bryan/College Station, serving as Advanced Obstetrics Chief during her final year. Additionally, Dr. Jimenez holds certification as a NaProTechnology Medical Consultant and Creighton Model FertilityCare Instructor, allowing her to provide advanced care in infertility and women’s health.

With a passion for full spectrum family medicine, Dr. Jimenez is dedicated to caring for patients at every stage of life. She especially enjoys delivering babies and continuing to care for them as they grow, creating lasting connections with families. Her professional interests include women’s health, fertility care, and obstetrics, and she is committed to serving rural communities where comprehensive care is most needed. Prior to joining Hutchinson Regional, Dr. Jimenez practiced family medicine and obstetrics at Delta County Memorial Hospital in Colorado.

Originally from the rural town of Trinidad, Colorado, Dr. Jimenez values the close-knit sense of community that comes with practicing medicine in smaller towns. She and her husband, Kyle, along with their two daughters and a baby on the way, are excited to be back in the Midwest. Outside of medicine, she enjoys running, playing recreational sports, and spending time with her family and dogs. Dr. Jimenez is honored to join Hutchinson Regional, where she can provide the full-scope family medicine she loves while raising her family in a supportive community.
