Dr. Sawsan Amireh is a board certified hematologist and oncologist who provides specialized care for patients with cancer and blood disorders. She believes exceptional care begins with listening and takes the time to understand each patient’s diagnosis, questions, concerns and personal goals. By working closely with patients and their families, Dr. Amireh helps them understand their treatment options and make informed decisions about their care with confidence and support.
Dr. Amireh earned her medical degree from the University of Jordan School of Medicine. She completed her residency at Saint Michael’s Medical Center through New York Medical College, as well as an internship in Internal Medicine at Saint Michael’s Medical Center through Seton Hall University. She went on to complete a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the State University of New York Downstate Health Sciences Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Board certified in Hematology and Oncology, Dr. Amireh combines advanced medical expertise with compassion, clear communication and an individualized approach to care. She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology and American College of Physicians.
