Hutchinson Regional Medical Center is pleased to offer a Teen Ambassador program. Teen Ambassadors will be between the ages of 14 and 18, and will help with various tasks at the Medical Center. Teen Ambassadors will volunteer for 8 weeks. Some of the responsibilities for the Teen Ambassadors include:
- Being the first to greet patients, guests and visitors with a smile at the front entrance.
- Escorting our patients, guests and visitors to their destinations.
- Assisting the staff in walking the patient from their floor to their cars on the day of discharge.
- Assisting in a variety of other duties as a Teen Ambassador at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.
We are taking applications now for anyone interested in volunteering. The Teen Ambassadors must be able to donate two 4-hour shifts per week for the summer-and one 2-hour shift per week for the school year. This is a great opportunity for teenagers to serve the community, and may be of special interest to teens who have an interest in healthcare. Certificates will be awarded to Teen Ambassadors who complete their volunteer commitment and community service credit will be available.
