Dr. Jafarey is a Pulmonary and Critical Care physician who provides comprehensive care for patients with a wide range of respiratory and pulmonary conditions. Her clinical interests include critical care medicine, bronchoscopy, point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS), and the management of complex pulmonary conditions.

Dr. Jafarey completed her Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine fellowship at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Prior to fellowship, she completed a combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency at the University of Missouri-Columbia, where she served as Chief Resident during her final year of training.

Drawn to Hutchinson Regional Healthcare System by its strong sense of community and collaborative approach to care, Dr. Jafarey values the opportunity to build long-term relationships with patients while providing comprehensive pulmonary care close to home.

Originally from Karachi, Pakistan, Dr. Jafarey moved to the United States in 2019 to pursue her medical training. Outside of medicine, she enjoys reading, gardening, running, crocheting, exploring new restaurants, traveling, and spending time with her husband and their two cats.
