Beth earned her bachelors degree in Social Work from Kansas State University and her masters degree from the University of Kansas. She is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor. She spent the first 25 years of her career at Horizons as Department Head of Community Support Services, working with adults with Severe and Persistent Mental Illness, she now provides Behavioral Health Consultations at the Hutchinson Clinic. In addition, Beth also teaches Mental Health First Aid and ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training).
Paula is a Licensed Clinical Specialist Social Worker and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor. Her undergraduate degree is through Bethel College and she has a masters in Social Work through the University of Kansas. Paula has 20+ years of experience at Horizons, and is currently working with individuals who are incarcerated at the Reno County Correctional Facility. Individuals with mental illness often remain incarcerated at the local level longer than those without a mental illness, which led to the decision to place a Horizons clinican inside the county jail. Her job is to allow these individuals to continue with mental health treatment so they have a better opportunity of success when they return to community living.
Laura is a trained Behavioral Health Consultant, providing services at the Hutchinson Clinic. She received her bachelors degree in Social Work from Bethel College and her Masters degree in Social Work from Newman University. Laura is a Licensed Clinical Specialist Social Worker and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor. Laura has over 20 year of experience - she has worked at Horizons in the Community Support Services department and in the Outpatient therapy department, Laura has also provided therapy in a private practice setting.
