We Help Patients Achieve Maximum Independence

The inpatient acute rehabilitation unit is for patients who have experienced a significant decline in function and who need and tolerate an intense multidisciplinary approach for their recovery. Depending on your diagnosis, the multidisciplinary team may include:

  • A Physiatrist; a medical doctor specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation
  • 24/7 rehabilitation nursing
  • Physical therapy
  • Speech therapy
  • Occupational therapy
  • Therapy Dog Program
  • Psychologists
  • Psychiatrists
  • Other specialty services available: respiratory therapy, nutritionists, social workers, specialty physicians, in-house pharmacist

We work hard to help all patients reach the highest possible level of recovery, assisting the patient to regain and maintain independance. We also teach patients alternative techniques, when defecits remain, to perform daily tasks necessary to live successfully and safely in the community.
