Mental Health Frequently Asked Questions​

You don’t need to schedule an intake at Horizons – we have a walk-in intake process. You can come in whenever it is most convenient for you! We do our intakes on Mon/Wed/Fri from 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., and Tue/Thu from 1:00 p.m.-5:30 p.m. If you have time today, you can come in today!

In order to reduce the no-show rate, and ensure that you can be seen sooner by your medication provider, we no longer schedule our medication appointments when you leave. Instead, we ask you to call back on a certain date, and then we will get you in to see your provider within 3-5 days of you calling. This way you have a better idea of what your schedule will look like, and we can be more responsive to your medication needs

You can absolutely be seen at Horizons. Horizons has a sliding fee scale – so if you do not have insurance we will work with you on your fee. Horizons does not refuse to see anyone based on inability to pay.
