What is DME?
Durable Medical Equipment (DME) refers to medical equipment designed for repeated use, typically in a home setting, to support health, recovery, or daily living.
Do I need a prescription to get equipment?
Prescription requirements vary by product and insurance coverage. Please contact one of our locations for information about a specific item.
What insurance plans do you accept?
We work with most major insurance providers, including Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and many others. Please contact your nearest location to verify coverage.
Do you offer equipment rentals?
Yes. We offer a variety of rental equipment for short- and long-term needs. Common rental items include:
- Wheelchairs
- Hospital beds
- Steerable knee walkers
- Wheelchair ramps

What is not covered under Medicare?
Medicare generally does not cover:
- Equipment intended primarily for use outside the home, such as scooters or power wheelchairs when mobility inside the home is not limited.
- Convenience items such as stair lifts, grab bars, and bathroom safety aids.
- Disposable supplies, including incontinence products.
- Home modifications such as wheelchair ramps.
How do I maintain my PAP machine and supplies?
Regular cleaning and replacement help keep your equipment working properly.
- We recommend cleaning your supplies weekly using mild soap and water or a mixture of 1 part white vinegar to 3 parts water.
- Replace supplies on the recommended schedule, typically every 1, 3, or 6 months depending on the item.
- We also offer equipment sanitizing solutions to help keep your supplies clean.
My PAP mask is leaking. What should I do?
Mask leaks are often caused by an improper fit, worn cushions, or buildup from regular use.
- Clean the mask and adjust the straps to improve the seal.
- Replace the cushion if it shows signs of wear.
- If leaks continue, please contact our team. We can help determine whether a different mask style may provide a better fit.
What should I do if I have an oxygen emergency after hours?
We provide 24/7 on-call support for oxygen and life-support equipment.
If an emergency occurs, switch to your backup oxygen tank and contact our on-call team immediately. Whether the issue is equipment failure or a power outage, we’ll help ensure you have the equipment and support needed until service can be restored. Please call our office to reach the on-call staff.
