President/CEO of The Clayworks at Disability Supports, and Disability Supports of the Great Plains

Rick is a proud native Kansan and the President/CEO of both The Clayworks at Disability Supports, and Disability Supports of the Great Plains, a provider of services for individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities in McPherson and Reno Counties. Rick’s first career, prior to joining Disability Supports nearly 20 years ago, was with Morgan Stanley. His postsecondary education from Kansas State and Fort Hays State Universities is in Finance and Economics. In Hutchinson, Rick has served as a member of The Chamber of Commerce Public Policy Advisory Committee, Chamber Board Member and Chamber Board of Directors Chair. He is currently engaged on the Economic Development Advisory Committee to the Greater Hutch initiative. At the Cosmosphere, Rick served six years on the Governing Board, including a term as Board of Directors Chair, as well as a member of the revitalization task force and the subsequent ad hoc revitalization oversight committee. Following the Cosmosphere Governing Board term, he has transitioned to the Cosmosphere Foundation Board as Chairman. Rick’s hobbies include, hunting, cooking, reading and travel.
