Lee has been with the Underground Vaults & Storage, Inc.​ since 1979. Growing up in McPherson, KS he is a graduate of Hutchinson Community College and received his BSB from Emporia State University where he is currently a Trustee and Board member of ESU.  Lee is very active in the community and is currently serving on various non-profit and civic organization boards which include; Reno Country 4-H Foundation, Meals on Wheels, Reno County Historical Society and Salt Museum and past chairman of the Reno County community jail committee. Lee is a member of the Hutchinson Rotary Club, Hutchinson/Reno County Chamber of Commerce, Hutchinson Executive Association and Trinity United Methodist Church.  Having a personal connection with the hospital, all three of his children were born at Hutchinson Regional and his family experienced the tragic loss of his daughter in 2005.  His hobbies include racquetball, golf, boating , waterskiing, mowing and exploring underground locations.
