Dr. Mattar has been a physician at Hutchinson Clinic since 2014 and also a physician at the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. Dr. Mattar attended medical school and did his Residency in General Internal Medicine at the Lebanese University School of Medicine in Beirut, Lebanon. He completed his Residency for Internal Medicine and his Fellowship in Cardiology at East Tennessee State University, Johnson City, TN. His Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology was completed at Tufts University School of Medicine at Baystate Medical Center, Springfield, MA. Dr. Mattar is a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Cardiology. His Board Certifications include: American Board of Internal Medicine, American Board of Internal Medicine –Interventional Cardiology, American Board of Cardiology, American Board of Adult Transthoracic and Transesophageal Echocardiology, American Board of Nuclear Cardiology, and the American Board of Interventional Cardiology.
